Hello to all: we're ready to go! This weekend begins the new season with lots of changes, a new covered area for relaxing outside while enjoying the view, more strawberries and peppers, an expanded corn maze and a wider selection of neat stuff in the retail area.

September 4th and 5th: APPLEGRASS! 5-10 P.M. each evening. 5 different bands each night. Jam tent. Special vendors. Wine sampling. This is the first year of what we feel will become one of the biggest music events in the midwest over the next several years. Great music in an relaxed atmosphere. Bring a chair, take your shoes off, and "set" a spell. $10 per person per night or get a two day pass for $15. Kids under 12 free. Camping available, call to make reservations.

September 10-12: FIELDS OF FLIGHT: hot air balloon rally. 22 hot air balloons. $5 to park $1 to get in. Proceeds used to buy food for local food pantries. The balloons fly at 5:30 P.M. on Friday and Saturday and 6:30 A.M. on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. Glows at 8:00 on Friday and Saturday. Music by Brich and Killion at 5:00 on Friday and Saturday. Southpaw Bluegrass Band at 8 Friday and Travelin Lite at 8 Saturday. Special guest appearance by Men of Grace on Saturday with a tribute to the Men and Women of the Armed Services.

The strawberries are now ready. We'll be open Memorial weekend for picking. Saturday 9-2, Sunday 11-3 and Monday 9-2. See you then.

Applegrass-first annual bluegrass festival

What an event! Applegrass! 10 bluegrass and old timey bands over 2 days for only $10 per day or a weekend pass for $15. Saturday and Sunday Labor Day weekend 2010. Special vendors and more. More information to follow.

The insided of the retail area has been rearranged and looks super, all the better for our customers! We have expanded our inventory with new and exciting items including different jams, jellies, apple butter, etc.

Our second year of strawberries is looking good. The berries have set on well and we are looking at an excellent crop. Check with us but it looking like we may be able to start picking on Memorial weekend.
